Bloods and Breeds and Beings

This is a short list, with descriptions, of the bloods, species and other beings.

Pure Blood Comes from a pure Wizarding blood line. Traitors are burned off the family tree. These are rare.
Half Blood A witch or wizard who has both a magical and muggle bloodline.
Half-Breed A witch or wizard with non human parent. eg. Half Giant, half human. Half breeds can still attend school. (Does not include werewolves)
Muggle Born A witch or wizard who was born into a muggle family. (Also known more crudely as Mud blood)
"Blood Traitor" This is the term for a Pure Blood family who don't follow Pure Blood "norms." This includes:

• Protecting & supporting Squibs, muggles, muggle borns and other blood traitor's
  
• Marrying a Squib, muggle, muggle born or another blood traitor
  Etc.
  

Squib A non magical person born to witches and wizards.
Muggle A non Magical person
Ethereal Entities: These include Ghosts & poltergeists. Other beings may be accepted but their abilities have to be clearly stated.
